Welcome to Academy of Tuition. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and the tuition services provided by Academy of Tuition Limited. By enrolling a student or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Academy of Tuition Limited provides educational tuition for primary and secondary school pupils, including:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- SATs Preparation
- 11+ Preparation
- Private School Entrance Preparation
Course availability may change throughout the academic year.
2. Enrolment
A student's place is confirmed once:
- Registration has been completed.
- Payment arrangements have been agreed.
- Any required enrolment documents have been received.
We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw an enrolment where appropriate.
3. Fees and Payments
Tuition fees are payable monthly.
Payments must be made on or before the agreed payment date.
Fees are charged according to the published course timetable rather than the number of weeks within a calendar month.
Missed lessons do not normally qualify for refunds.
Late payments may result in suspension of tuition until the account is brought up to date.
4. Attendance
Students should attend every scheduled lesson.
If a student cannot attend, parents should notify us as soon as possible.
Where possible, online lessons or alternative arrangements may be offered, but these cannot be guaranteed.
5. Homework
Students are expected to:
- Complete homework on time.
- Bring required books and equipment.
- Participate positively during lessons.
Parents are encouraged to support their child's learning at home.
6. Behaviour
Academy of Tuition aims to provide a respectful, safe and positive learning environment.
Students and parents must treat staff, tutors and other families with courtesy and respect at all times.
Bullying, abusive behaviour, threatening language or disruption may result in immediate removal from tuition.
7. Tutors
Lessons are delivered by qualified and authorised tutors.
Academy of Tuition reserves the right to change tutors where necessary while maintaining continuity of learning.
8. Course Changes
Academy of Tuition may occasionally make changes to:
- Lesson times
- Course content
- Teaching methods
- Tutors
- Classroom arrangements
Reasonable notice will normally be provided where possible.
9. Cancellations
Parents may cancel tuition by providing written notice.
The required notice period is three lessons.
Fees remain payable until the notice period has ended.
If Academy of Tuition cancels a lesson, we will normally provide either:
- A replacement lesson; or
- A refund where a replacement lesson cannot reasonably be provided.
10. Books and Learning Materials
Certain courses require textbooks or additional learning materials.
Parents are responsible for purchasing any required course materials unless otherwise stated.
11. Photography and Media
Photographs or videos of students will only be used where appropriate consent has been provided.
Parents may withdraw consent at any time.

12. Personal Information
Academy of Tuition processes personal information in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

13. Website Use
All content published on this website, including text, graphics, documents, logos and learning materials, remains the intellectual property of Academy of Tuition Limited unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
Academy of Tuition aims to provide the highest possible standard of tuition.
However, we cannot guarantee examination results, school placements or any specific educational outcome.
Nothing within these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
